VBS, VBS, VBS..

so tonight, was the vbs family night thing where all the parents and everybody come and listen to their squirts sing the music.
well, after it was over, me and ashley and amberley were bored, so we're like "lets call a radio station."
and we called kicks 101.5 and some automated thing picked up. and we were confused, so we hung up.
then we called star 94. so, we werent expecting them to pick up, and if they actually did, we were thinking it would be somebody behind the scenes or something taking requests or something.
well, IT WASNT. IT WAS THE DJ. and amberley was totally NOT expecting that, so she freaks out, and shes shoves the phone in my face.
and so i take the phone, and our conversation is as follows:

DJ: Star 94.
ME: Is this star 94? this is star 94, right? (no duh.
)
DJ: uh..yup.
(phone is on speaker, btw.)

ME: ummm..can i request a song? when you look me in the eyes by the..jonas brothers?
DJ: how long will it take you to get a new phone?
ME: um..like 2 seconds. we have one right here.
DJ: no really, a new phone.
ASHLEY
: no really, we can use my phone.
DJ: no, like go to the store and get a new phone.
ASH: oh..prolly like an hour..?
DJ: haha. im just kiddin. song is coming right up.
ME: ok, thank you!


it was the WEIRDEST THING!!
and then, we run to Ms Aprils car to hear me and ashley on the radio and we decide to call back again, and she gets through to the behind the scenes people. and ash is like "um.. are you givin away jonas brothers tickets?" and the guy is all rude and is like "well, we're not just giving them away, you have to win them. next week." ash: "oh..next week?? ok. thank you." then she gives the phone to amberley, and i THOUGHT she hung up, and i said "psh.. (imitates guy) well we're not givin away tickets.." then amberley is like "KRISTEN!! HES STILL ON THE PHONE!!"

ahh..
what a night of surprises.
